An MVP (minimum viable product) is the smallest version of your product that lets you learn whether it solves a real problem. It is not a half-built product: it is a well-designed experiment.
Start with the problem
Define who has the problem, how much it hurts and how they solve it today. If you cannot answer that, it is not time to code yet.
Cut ruthlessly
List every feature and keep only the one without which the product is useless. The rest goes to a future-improvements list.
Define how you will measure
Pick one or two metrics (active users, conversions, time saved) before launching, so you know whether it worked.
Launch in weeks
An MVP that takes months stops being minimal. Shipping fast and learning from real users is the goal.
